Imagine the media reaction if instead of being a “Christian warrior,” Cuellar had pledged allegiance to Allah.[/perfectpullquote]
A Las Vegas man has been taken into custody and charged with making terrorist threats after posting a disturbing YouTube video threatening to slaughter “gays, faggots, lesbians and satanists.”
KTNV reports 24-year-old Bryce Cuellar has been charged for making terrorist threats in a video that was posted on YouTube. According to the report, in the video Cuellar can be seen showing off two rifles and wearing a military flak vest and night vision goggles.
In the video, that has since been deleted, Cuellar claimed to be a Christian warrior and said that he would begin killing soon. The would-be terrorist said he wanted to kill “gays, faggots, lesbians and satanists.”
The Las Vegas Sun reports that in the video Cuellar said he is tired of America and its government, claimed he wanted to protect his First and Second Amendment rights, and said he was eager to use his weapons as the Founding Fathers intended.
Following his arrest, Cuellar admitted to making the video but said that he was “angry and drunk” at the time, and has no intention of murdering anyone.
Currently Cuellar is being held on $100,000 bail and has been admitted for a psychological evaluation. His next hearing is scheduled for Sept. 1.
